What the research says (and doesn't)
One reanalysis found that attempts to reduce social media use shorter than a week left people feeling slightly worse, while a week or longer helped slightly. Across all the studies together, though, the effect was too small to be statistically significant; and another meta-analysis found no relationship between length and outcome at all. The honest read: stick with the ReClaim process for more than a few days, expect the beginning to be the hardest, and don't expect a quick fix.
